Turn of the Century style
Turn of the Century vent covers are constructed of solid steel that is about 1/8 inch thick and then powder coated in a variety of durable finishes. Also, on most units we can make them of stainless steel for a small upcharge. That effectively simulates brushed nickel and is a good choice for kitchen or bath.
There are 18 designs to choose from. When you look at them you'll probably be able to guess which designs are best for floor use in high traffic areas. The more ornate designs may not be the best for that location. We have a variety of ways to increase the strength if you expect to have them in an area with a lot of foot traffic such as a hallway.
In addition to all the standard sizes we have a lot of leeway to customize flanges and sizes, so call with your special needs. Dampers are screwdriver actuated and can be fitted to units where the measurement is in even inches.
In addition to typical vent cover situations, we also make them as low profile baseboard registers and cold air returns with filter. We also make utility boxes such as thermostat covers with matching faceplate designs.
